I am doing my apprenticeship in the field of process mechanics for plastics and rubber technology
What are your main duties?

What prerequisites should applicants fulfil?
A good secondary school leaving certificate with good marks in mathematics and physics are helpful for this apprenticeship. Good technical understanding and manual dexterity as well as the ability to work in a team are also advantageous for this occupation.
What prospects and career opportunities will you have after completing your apprenticeship?
After my apprenticeship, I have the chance to work as a skilled worker and specialise in certain technologies. Furthermore, I can complete a master craftsman course or train to become a technician. I can also choose to take up an engineering degree.
